Paul Shearer, Principal Solicitor

Paul qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and has since then specialised in all aspects of civil litigation including housing law in particular. He trained with a large London firm before relocating to Wiltshire in 2005. Paul has been a member of the Housing Law Practitioners Association since 1995 and is also a peer reviewer for the Legal Services Commission. 

Landlord & Tenant

We can provide advice and representation in landlord-and-tenant cases as well as property disputes including dilapidations, forfeiture actions and service-charge disputes.

Police complaints

Shearer & Co is experienced in providing representation in bringing civil actions against the Police, for example for assault, wrongful arrest and false imprisonment, malicious prosecution, trespass and discrimination claims.

We have experience in acting in claims involving charges on property.
